Advier takes your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you in a secure manner. This privacy statement of Advier describes how Advier handles your personal data. We recommend that you read this privacy statement carefully.
Who is Advier?
Advier is a company that, as a sober, creative and innovative mobility partner, is primarily focused on sustainable accessibility, mobility and energy.
What personal data does Advier collect and process?
Advier collects personal data to offer our services and carry out projects. Advier does not collect more personal data than is strictly necessary for the execution of its services and projects. This can differ per project. Our service center manages the data of participants in mobility promotions and other types of customers and users of our services. Data is collected via web login or telephone and in most cases you also get a personal account. We request the following (partially optional) information via the web or your personal account
- First Name;
- last name;
- e-mail address;
- address;
- date of birth (because you often have to be 18 years old to participate);
- employer's address if the employer participates and/or pays for the mobility project;
- your bank account number to be able to pay any fees that sometimes belong to mobility projects;
- multiple choice questions related to your mobility behaviour
- telephone number;
- whether you are in possession of a smartphone in connection with the registration of mobility behaviour;
In a project we work together with the Rittenteller Antwerp app. This app registers mobility behavior with a smartphone. This app has an extensive privacy statement of its own.

We also work with suppliers such as Typeform, Mailchimp, Odoo, Google and sQoot. We have concluded processing agreements with these parties. The servers of Google and Mailchimp are (partly) located outside the EU. In projects with a personal account you can read the following information in your account:
- your personal information;
- your mobility performance;
- other details of the project you are participating in;
Why does Advier collect personal data?
We collect your data to:
- comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- to allow you to use our services and/or to use your services;
- to inform you about our services, requests and/or professional information (for example via e-mail and newsletters);
- enter into and maintain a commercial relationship with you;
- to agree and/or be able to carry out assignments;
- to enable your participation in a project, such as creating an account, tracking your mobility behavior and enabling your participation in any campaigns;
- to conduct research on mobility-related topics;
- to provide information about you to third parties if necessary for the service, if you have given permission to do so or on the basis of laws and/or regulations.
Use by third parties
Advier can provide information about mobility behavior to third parties for the purpose of research. It often concerns governments that (partly) finance the projects. If Advier does so, we anonymize or pseudonymise your data so that they can never be traced back to your person.
Advier can also provide your data to third parties insofar as you have expressly indicated with regard to a certain third party that you give permission for this and/or insofar as this data cannot be traced back to you personally (such as automatically generated information).
Finally, Advier can provide your personal data to third parties if it is obliged to do so on the basis of legislation and/or regulations, if it is forced to do so as a result of a lawsuit and/or if it deems this necessary to protect its own rights.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to optimize the use of our website. Cookies are therefore placed via this website. The information obtained in this way is analyzed for us. The information is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address is emphatically not used. We can therefore not trace you personally. The information obtained will only be shared with third parties if there is a legal obligation to do so.
Hyperlinks
The Advier website may contain hyperlinks with which you leave the Advier website and end up on the website of another party. We have no control over the services and/or websites of third parties that are linked to. It is therefore possible that a different privacy statement applies with regard to these services and/or websites of third parties. Our privacy statement only relates to (personal) data that is processed by Advier via the Advier website. Advier does not accept any responsibility or liability for (the operation and/or content of) services and/or websites of third parties.
Cookies and automatically generated data
The automatically generated information consists of the operating system you are using and “cookies”. Advier only uses this information to enable your use of the Service and to improve your user experience and will never sell or share this data with third parties without your explicit permission. Advier uses technical and functional cookies that it places and reads itself. These cookies are necessary to provide the Advier website in a user-friendly manner or to obtain information about the quality or effectiveness of the Advier website. For example, functional cookies ensure that you do not have to log in again on every page after logging in and these functional cookies remember the settings entered in the Advier website, such as your language preferences.

Lifespan of Cookies
How long does Advier store your personal data? Advier stores your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable laws. Your personal data will not be kept longer than necessary in connection with the purpose for which this data was collected.
What are my rights?
It is possible to inspect the personal data that has been recorded about you at Advier. To this end, you can send a request for access to info@advier.nl with 'request for access to data' in the subject line. Advier will respond to your request for access within four (4) weeks. If you delete your account in a project, Advier will block this account. We will strip all your data of all directly or indirectly identifying information, so that the data can no longer be traced back to you. After termination of your account, Advier will store the anonymized mobility data for the use thereof for market studies and research related to mobility-related topics, as well as for statistical purposes.
If you want to make changes to the personal data that you have seen as a result of the access request and that you cannot change in your account, you can request this from Advier at the aforementioned e-mail address. You can request that Advier changes, corrects, supplements, deletes or protects your data. Advier will respond to your request within four (4) weeks. If Advier rejects your request, it will indicate in its reply why the request to adjust the data is rejected. If you do not wish to receive e-mail messages from Advier, you can unsubscribe by sending an e-mail to info@advier.nl with 'unsubscribe from newsletter' in the subject line. An option to unsubscribe is also included in every e-mail that Advier sends to you.
How are your personal data protected?
Advier has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or against any form of unlawful processing. Knowledge and improvement of your personal data You can always view your own data and change it if necessary in your account. If you want to see the personal data that has been recorded about you at Advier, you can request access. This request can be sent to info@advier.nl with 'request for access to data' in the subject line. Advier will respond to your request for access within four (4) weeks. If you want to make changes to the personal data that you have seen as a result of the access request and that you cannot change in your account, you can request this from Advier at the aforementioned e-mail address. You can request that Advier changes, corrects, supplements, deletes or protects your data. Advier will respond to your request within four (4) weeks. If Advier rejects your request, it will indicate in its reply why the request to adjust the data is rejected.
Can minors use the Advier website and services?
In projects you may need permission from your parents or legal representatives, if you are not yet 16 years old. In that case, you cannot use the relevant sites and services without permission.
Can this privacy statement be changed?
This privacy statement is subject to change. These changes will be announced via the Advier website and/or via the email address you have provided. We therefore advise you to regularly read the privacy statement for any changes.
Liability
Advier's liability for indirect damage, including consequential damage and loss of income, is excluded in all cases.
