The term mobi point is used more and more often, but what exactly are those mobi points? A mobi point consists of a combination of one or more functions for shared mobility, for example the offer of car sharing, bicycle facilities and a stop for collective transport (public transport, vanpool, shared taxi or a shuttle bus). Depending on the location and the wishes of the neighbourhood, additional functions can be offered: bicycle sharing, electric charging stations, lockers, WiFi, a post box, etc.

Within the EU project SHARE-North, Living Labs continuously gains knowledge and experience in realizing mobi points. Advier is the Dutch partner in this project.

First acquaintance

You will learn more about the mobipunt concept during the mini-symposium. We provide insight into the strategy, physical layout, organization and marketing. Cases are shared from both the Netherlands and abroad. You will also receive tools to delve deeper into the subject.

About Advier

Advier organizes the mini-symposium mobi points. Advier has many years of experience with issues in the field of mobility management and shared mobility. The speakers Friso Metz, Maurice van der Meché and Minze Walvius are involved in setting up the very first mobi points in the Netherlands. Together with their partners from the European projects, they are working on a daily basis to further develop and implement the mobipunt concept.
